Text: 'IMPORTANT This installation (or part of it) is protected by a Residual Current Device which automatically switches off the supply if an earth fault develops. It should be tested quarterly by pressing the button marked "T" or "TEST." The device should switch off the supply when the button is pressed. To restore the supply simply switch back on in the normal manner. If when the button is pressed the device fails to turn off the power, seek professionals advice, or have the R.C.D. unit replaced.'
